 Make a final decision(s) based upon your needs – avoid features that you will not use!

 Request a list of ordered products from your retailer including brand, model number, costs, tax, shipping, etc.
 Obtain printed specification sheets with installation details on each item and copy Design Vision, LLC.
 Establish a delivery date and storage location at the remodel site before any construction begins.

Delivery and installation of product:
 Do not start any construction before all products are on-site.
 Be present when the product is delivered to check for damage and correct model numbers…
 Carefully check the condition of the shipping box by looking for:
 Crushed corners
 Holes punched inbox
 Missing boxing bands (around the perimeter of the box)
 Open flaps that are no longer glued down
 Large boxes should be delivered on pallets
 Do not accept the product if the box is damaged unless the box is opened and the product is checked thoroughly.
 Ask delivery person to open boxes on manufacturer “cut lines” so the box is in tack if the product needs to be returned
 DO NOT ACCEPT DAMAGED PRODUCTS.
 Otherwise do not accept the product if the box is damaged.
 Save boxes until all products are installed and working as retailers will not accept returns without boxes.
 Remove installation instructions and make a copy to post on the site for all trades involved in the installation,

Warranty:
 Warranty information is detailed in the Product Use and Care.
 Most factory warranties begin on the installation date.
 Proof of installation date must be in writing on Installer’s letterhead or invoice with date, payment, etc.
 Confirm this installation start date warranty policy with your retailer.
